Green Cleaning: LEED Audit
Elliott Affiliates can evaluate and document the current appearance level of your facility according to the criteria outlined in LEED for Existing Buildings v3 IEQ credit 3.2 – Green Cleaning – Custodial Effectiveness Assessment.
To achieve this goal, a comprehensive random diagnostic evaluation of crucial functional elements of cleaning system performance is conducted in accordance with APPA Leadership in Educational Facilities “Custodial Staffing Guidelines”.
We will ensure that all APPA space categories included in the scope of the project are included, and that at least 10% of the rooms by Space Category, and 5 spaces at a minimum are audited per space category. The comprehensiveness of the audit process depends on the comprehensiveness of the space category information provided to us for the building.
Elliott will deliver a completed IEQ Credit 3.2 Green Cleaning Custodial Effectiveness Assessment form per LEED guidelines. We will complete the following sections:
- Custodial Effectiveness Audit Summary Table (page 1 of 3)
- Opportunities for improved custodial effectiveness based on the audit results (page 2 of 3)
We will also deliver a complete Elliott Affiliates Cleaning Performance Report, which will further detail the inspection results and areas for improvement.
